I watched Laura Ingraham interview the head of an atheist organization a few days ago. The organization is performing a "great service" by putting up billboards making fun of Christmas and anyone who is naive enough to believe in God.
Laura asked how many members she had in her organization. "Fourteen thousand," the woman finally reported. "Wow," Ingraham said. "Fourteen thousand out of 300 million people, 80% or more of whom are Christian."
Ingraham then said something like, "Well, I know you put up billboards making fun of the overwhelming majority of Americans who believe in a higher power. And I know that the Catholic Church, Evangelican Christians, and Mormons are all over the earth doing good deeds for the poor, sick, and suffering, but what are you atheists doing to make the world a better place?"
The woman hem-hawed around and couldn't come up with a decent response. It was wonderful.
Way to go, Laura Ingraham.
